Myself and two of my friends participated in a 48hr games jam, with the theme of ‘cozy’. For this games jam we created a casual survival game, where the player is tasked with collecting a collection of items without freezing. As the programmer I focused on the gameplay feel, for which I implemented features, such as: different movement statistics based upon terrain type, as well as temperature based movement speed.

It’s cold outside, so why not have a cozy night in a log cabin? But you’ll need a few extra things to make it a truly cosy evening. 

Head out into the cold to find all three items and then head to the cabin for the perfect night in, but make sure you don’t get too cold. Find Fire Sprites roaming the woods to keep you heat level high.
